An instrumental album where each piece is part of a narrative that follows the life of a man born to be king, who is seduced and betrayed, retreats to exile, and in exile grows into the King he was truly meant be. He then returns to claim his throne. While each piece of music represents a segment in the King's journey, the use of the cross iconography in the album art is not an accident, as the narrative itself is a metaphor for the life of Christ, his destiny on the cross, and his resurrection. And his final ascendency to the throne, to rule. It's an example that can serve any man who faces difficulties, challenges and setbacks, yet returns to lead. And we are all destined for some form of greatness in our own lives, and the Return of the King is about claiming that birthright.
